The Big History Podcast will take you on a journey through all known history, from the Big Bang to today. In 14 episodes, an interdisciplinary group of professors from the University of Amsterdam and beyond will guide you through that history and will discuss how our universe originated, how stars and planets developed, how Earth and life emerged and evolved together, how we became human and started to live in increasingly complex societies and how we turned into beings that are impacting our entire planet. The podcast will not just give you a broad overview of these processes; it will also zoom in on some of the latest scientific and scholarly insights that are important for big history and for understanding the role that we play in that story.
